Driven towards exposing subtleties, I have at my core, the desire to be a catalyst for positive change in the world.  I'm an innovator at heart, a trailblazer, and a conduit for ideas and solutions (about which I'm very passionate!).  I'm forever seeking out the new.  I'm tenacious, resourceful, and driven towards my goals, which often involve creativity on some level.  Art, photography, design, music, composing, writing….all things I love to do and with which I'm usually involved in to some degree at any given time.  Acutely sensitive to the subtleties that exist in the environment, my photographic work is created with a meditative and painterly eye, seeking to communicate the deeper layers that are often overlooked…….the hidden beauty in all things.  http://www.yvonnesuter.com/ (photo site).

As for music….my natural talent is drumming, and I sing as well.  I also fool around with other instruments, and enjoy sampling sounds in the environment with my digital recorder. I'm currently seeking  collaborators to join me in putting together a creative music project, utilizing drums, electric and acoustic guitars, piano, cello, violin, organ, voice, keys, and sound textures.  Style:  indie rock/alternative world/ambient, and alternating between intense and quiet moods…and always emotive.  Would love to combine with visual and performance elements as well.  See my musician page at:  http://www.bandmix.com/avantgirl/

I currently run my own design business, creating gardens and landscapes, curbside appeal,  and offering “Holistic Interior Makeovers”, clutter clearing, and space organizing services.  I have a desire to assist my client's in improving their well-being, by optimizing their personal environments, aesthetically, energetically, and physically.   I rely on my intuition quite readily, in performing my work.  http://www.dwellbydesign.com/ (design site)

I have a great interest in the subject of Life Purpose, and I'm looking towards eventually offering life-coaching in this area, and ultimately starting a non-profit, with the intent of assisting people to discover what their gifts are and what they are here to do.  I feel the creative arts are a particularly useful tool towards self-discovery and I have a strong interest in utilizing the arts in conjunction with the aforementioned goal.   I'm also interested in using gardening as a tool. 

I'm currently seeking connections and open to the possibilities:  Friendship, creative collaboration, business networking, business partnership….and I'm especially interested in finding others who may be interested in starting a non-profit with me here in the greater Los Angeles area….as well as in joining forces with others who have already done so.
